Ice Season is Here—Tips for Staying Safe
As fishable ice starts to become available across Minnesota, state ice anglers will begin to explore their favorite lakes.
However, safe ice is NOT available on all lakes yet, so please use caution when venturing out.
Per the Minnesota DNR, here’s are recommended ice thicknesses for various forms of winter ice travel.
